  Definition of Descriptive Text Descriptive Text is a text which says what a person or a thing is like. Its purpose is to describe and reveal a particular person, place, or thing. In a broad sense, description, as explained by Kane (2000: 352), is defined like in the following sentence: Description is about sensory experience—how something looks, sounds, tastes. Mostly it is about visual experience, but description also deals with other kinds of perception. But in particular, the descriptive text is, “…… is a text which says what a person or a thing is like. Its purpose is to describe and reveal a particular person, place, or thing.” So, it can be said that this descriptive text is a text that explains about whether a person or an object is like, whether its form, its properties, its amount and others. Hi everyone, welcome to my blog, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Ichsal Masir , you can call me Ical . I was born in Jakarta on January 12, 2004. I am the second of 3 siblings, my main dream is to become a doctor ,   but I want to be able to do everything   because I like to do many things. For example, cooking, painting, graphic design, volleyball, programming, making vfx, photography, and bioglogic practices and so on This is one example of my design Initially I wanted to be an animator, but after I watched TV programs, there was a man. said the man, if you want to be a doctor, you have to learn all the lessons, not just science, such as sociology, because when we deal with patients, our attitude must be in accordance with this patient, because not all patients have the same nature.   Definition of Explanation Text Explanation is a text which tells processes relating to forming of natural, social, scientific and cultural phenomena. Explanation text is to say ‘why’ and ‘how’ of the forming of the phenomena. It is often found in science, geography and history text books.
